Staggered Fold Booklet

How and where do I set up a template for a staggered fold booklet? I
currently have a 16 page booklet utilizing 4 sheets of 8 1/2x 11 paper that
are staggered folded in half, giving a tab for each page. Unfortunately, I
am doing this all by hand and am having a problem adding additional pages
because of the limited fold area and text boxes being in the wrong location
when new is added.

There must be a powerpoint or publisher template that will do this for me.
Does anyone know where it might be or might have a template to share?

There are several Publisher and Word templates/wizards that design this
style of multi-page booklets.

However, PowerPoint is not really a 'hardcopy' publishing type of program.
I does print, but that is one of it's weaker points. I mean, sure, you can
use a screwdriver to drive in a nail, but it is much faster, neater, and
simpler to use a hammer. I think perhaps Publisher is your hammer on this
one.

If, you absativly posilutly can not use one of the publishing software's,
then you can use the screwdriver. Just be aware that you are going to need
a lot (I'm talking saintly here) of patience, a lot of scrap paper (to try
the layouts time and time again), and oodles of time.
