Stability

Microsoft says that they've made it more stable. I find
this funny because on one computer in my home network
methane is more stable than this AntiSpyware program.
It's crashes everytime I do a Anti-Spyware scan and it
crashes upon loading and on this computer hey it doesn't
even load at all. I get the splash screen and that's it.

Also the AntiSpyware progrmas is not protecting the above
computer from spyware. This computer looks fine according
the Spyware scan.

On the above mentioned computer it has Freedom Security
and I decided to do an Anti-Spyware scan with it and it
found 85 spyware files RIGHT after doing a scan with
Microsoft.

The other computer:

E-Machines H2742
Intel Celeron 2.7 Ghz
768MB DDR RAM
Windows XP Home Service Pack 2
Freedom Security

This computer
HP Pavillion 6634
Intel Celeron 533 MHZ
192 MB SD-RAM
Windows XP Home Service Pack 2
McAfee Virus Scan Pro and Firewall Plus

Hi Jordan,

Im not using the scanner but I was going to say the only
times you would expect it to have problems like that is
when the pc is infected with alot of malware that is
running as windows service's and things like that but you
said yourself it had 85 spyware files.

I think with MS Antispy being at a beta testing stage you
really need to agree to join the test by using the
scanner. It should not be the only spyware scanner you
have as MS are still building the scanner but i think it
would work well if used with other scanners like Spybot &
Adaware SE, if your results have brought back any
cookies/data miners/viruses/worms etc.. then again MS
Would not detect them.
