Srv error ID 2012

Hi,

On our RRAS server we've seen the Srv error ID 2012, in
System Log, on several occasions. It says, "The server
has encountered a network error." What kind of network
error is it referring to?

Hi,

Does the article Q200017 specifically apply to situations
when the event ID 2012 appears on a domain controller?
Does it apply to Windows 2K Server, even though it's for
Windows NT?

In our case, this event occurs not on a DC, but an RRAS
server. On this server, in the System Log, we also get a
Browser warning ID 8021, which states, "The browser was
unable to retrieve a list of servers from the browser
master \\DomainController on the network
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{9FD68487-22E6-4927-8C87-
B852AEB8579C}. The data is the error code."

Even if Event IDs 2012 (Srv) and 8021 (Browser) appear on
a non-domain controller server, do they indicate there is
a problem with the domain controller?
