Srv Error 2019 and 2021

Hello,

I am using Windows XP Professional with an Asus K8V,
Athlon 64 3200+ and Radeon 9800. After 3-5 days of
continuous operation, the system becomes slow and
unstable. Eventually, the mouse will stop working and I
will have to restart or it will restart itself.

The event log shows the following errors:

Event Source: Srv
Event ID: 2019
The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged
pool because the pool was empty.

Event Source: Srv
Event ID: 2021
The server was unable to allocate a work item 1 times in
the last 60 seconds. (there are 10-20 of these)

Event Source: BROWSER
Event ID: 8007
The browser was unable to update the service status bits.

From checking this and other groups I know that I am not
the only person with this problem. I thought that we
could compare hardware specs to look for a common cause
and hopefully a solution.

Thanks!

It sounds like you are getting some overheating. I can't give you
first-hand information on that board, but here's a very good link that
might be useful: www.amdmb.com - check out their forums for some great
information.
