squished text boxes when convert PPT poster to PDF

I have a PPT slide that is 34x46 and composed only of text boxes. When I
print to PDF (after changing to the custom page size in PDF), the text boxes
squish themselves into the upper right 2/3 or so of the 34x46 page--they're
all piled on top of one another. I have this problem now whenever I try to
print a poster-size PPT slide to PDF whether it's text only or text and
graphics and whether it's landscape or portrait. I'm using Office 2003 and
Acrobat 7.0. I'm also going crazy. Can anyone help? Thanks. Sue Carlson,

With the last part, possibly not. But perhaps removing the proximate cause
will alleviate the symptoms? ;-)

I'd create a more normal sized PPT presentation and print to a more normal
sized PDF then print posters from the PDF and have Acrobat scale the result to
the chosen page size. It's smarter about this sort of thing than PPT. Let it
do the heavy lifting.

Thanks, Steve. If this is the only way, I guess I'll have to do it and rely
on our GIS people to follow instructions to print large on the plotter. The
thing is, I could do this with earlier versions of Acrobat, if that is where
the problem lies. Arrgh. Thanks again. Sue
