SQL Server database open in another program

Hi, I am trying to set the datasource for a DatagridView. I did already have one set up for another form in the same application but I have since deleted this. I seem to get this error:

"SQL Server database file"
"This File is in use. Enter a new name or close the file that's open in another program"

How can I get around this? I closed SQL Server application also so I dont see what application could have the database open. Also I dont understand why more than one application cannot access the database.
