SQL Server 2005 Mirroring

Is there a way to programatically cause a SQL Server 2005 instance
failover to its mirror after connection is completed using vb.net
2005? Thanks

oh I found this I swear it is based off of ALTER DATABASE and you need
to specify ALLOW_DATA_LOSS i believe is the syntax; i'd check SQL
Server Books Online
