hey I want to execute VB 2005 code within a job in SQL 2005; all I see
there is 'ActiveX script'

is SQL 2005 going to support VB 2005 sometime soon?

no, Microsoft is going to sell us a new version of Visual Studio 2007
that will be SQL 2005 compatabile

just like they decided to not make Access 2000 support SQL 2000 and
they didn't allow Access 2003 to work against SQL 2005.

THOSE WHORES ARE JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY THEY DO NOT GIVE A ****
ABOUT LOGIC OR SIMPLICITY OR BEING FAIR TO THEIR DEVELOPERS

yeah that sure surprised me

I thought that .NET was the next great thing; I was surprised that
they were still using ActiveX scripts for job control

I mean; why should we have to use 4 different langauges for anything
that we do?
