spyware will not stop running

I just installed the Microsoft spyware beta and when I
run it it dooesn't stop. I have to do a hard boot. What
should I do?

Try an update install to see if this fixes the issue:
Control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft
Antispyware, change, update
