AntiSpyWare located spyware for me, but one version
returns after being deleted time after time....it is

c:/windows/system32/ide21201.vxd .....how do I delete
this bugger?

See my earlier post. DOS is a wonderful thing and will
allow you to get rid of these annoying buggers. Even if
you just boot up in DOS and then delete the file manually
it is a simple process.

Boot the PC into safe mode by tapping up and down on the F8 key at the very
first part of the bootup. Run MSAS in safe mode. It does not hurt to run
two scans while you are in safe mode. There have been some instances where
the second scan was needed. Then boot to normal mode. Did it come back?
If yes, open MSAS and click on Tools / Suspected Spyware report and submit
a report.

Well, I can do it myself but I think for a normal
home user this is too risky.
