Spyware,Virus???

I have had some problems and with all this advice I have fixed most of it. I
now have Kaspersky, Spybot, Ad-Aware & Spyblaster. With the help of a tool
for Windows update fixes it found a bug in my I.E. I fixed the problem with
that. By running different spyware programs I see that one gets what the
other dosnt. I had some trouble at first getting Spybot. I was being taken to
the wrong site now I have run all this protection and it fixed alot. I used
SpyDoctor and it says I have worm.IM.Sohanad, Backdoor.Retro 64,
Adware.Elitemultimedia_Pop64,
Dialer.7Ad Power,Adware winfixer,Spyware.180 Search_Assistant as well it
says there several other problems. The other ones say it is clean. The
SpyDoctor wont fix it unless I pay. The others are not picking these things
up. Am I doing something wrong? Also, what is a MUI object. It keeps coming
up in the Ad-Aware scans. Any help is appreciated. Mars

might be probable
that spydoctor infected
your pc and is holding
it hostage until you
pay.

uninstall that program.

there are other
antiviral you can
use. but if you do
be sure to disable
the other antiviral
so as to have only
one antivirus running
at any given time.

try this one out to
begin with:

other responders will have
suggestions as well.

incidentally, you may
want to include "hijack this"
to your arsenal.

Download David H. Lipman's MULTI_AV.EXE from the URL:

After the software is updated, it is suggested scanning the system in Safe
Mode.
How do you boot to Safe Mode?
By pressing/tabbing F8 (or F5 on some keyboards) during re-boot.
Alternatively:
click onto Start==>Run, type "msconfig" (without quotation marks), click
OK. Then click onto BOOT.INI tab and 'check' /SAFEBOOT then OK and click
Restart. To go back to Normal Mode, you must access the System
Configuration utility again and click the General tab then click/check the
radio button 'Normal Startup'- load all device drivers and services'.
