I list an item that Spybot is picking up but not this
program, it runs, the scan, then when I click to submit
the pop up says: "An error occurred submitting the scan
results. Please check your internet proxy settings and
submit again". I don't know where to start, what to look
for, or what to change. Thanks

I'm afraid we don't have a fix for this one. If the item is the "DSO
exploit" this is an error on the part of Spybot Search & destroy, and can
be safely ignored on IE6, patched to date.

Before you remove anything, check out
http://computercops.biz/postp394958.html and
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4392.html for info. on
the DSO Exploit false postives. Spybot S&D is supposted
to fix this in an update, but has not done so yet as of
last week. Also, if only one anti-spyware program finds
something that others don't, research the detection as
you are now researching this issue before removing
something that your PC may really need to keep.
You may want to check your IE settings to make sure you
are not using a proxy to connect to the 'net, and that
your firewall is allowing your program to get out on
the 'net.

1) Can you tell us the name of the spyware/adware?
Please note that AntiSpyware does not detect tracking
cookies. Also as Bill S. mentioned you can ignore DSO
Exploit in Spybot.

2) Regarding the error message when submitting the scan
result, are you sure you are connected to the internet AND
do not have a firewall that blocks AntiSpyware from
accessing the internet?
