Can anyone can identify the CLID 0E4BB6DE-EB56-4CFF-8ACD-
23F3666BAD33 which is used to lable a folder _restorXXX-
XXX... in a hidden folder labled "System Volume
Information?" The System Volume Information folder only
shows up when my Windows XP starts up normally.

What maked this CLID suspicious is the coincidental three
6s and the word "bad" that appears in the last set of
digits. Also, I have not seen the System Volume
Information folder or the subfolder with the CLID until
recently when it started showing up in the
defragmentation report, AND after my computer had been
invaded by several adwares and spywares at the same time.

Feel free to e-mail me related to this topic, but be
aware the address needs editing before it is usuable.

.
The volume folder is your system restore checkpoints, your
defrag program cannot defrag this folder so a report
after you run defrag is nothing to worry about.
You say that you had adware on your system, perhaps some
of it is in one of your checkpoints? Do a disk cleanup
with the option to delete all but your last checkpoint
checked.
