If you want to spend a little money and get a program that
is very similar to Microsoft's spyware program, you might
try CounterSpy from Sunbelt Software. $19.95 for a year,
I think.

For ANTI spyware, may I suggest going to
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/default.mspx
for best practices. Be sure to watch the video!
There are other freeware/shareware scanners out there that will work on
Win98 & ME
systems. Thinking Spybot and Adaware just to name two.
