SpyWare and Font Change

Win XP Home Edition, SpySweeper, Norton AV, Pop-up blocker

Two problems:
1) Within the last week my SpySweeper has detected and
removes numerous spyware/hijacker programs to
include 'seekseek' and 'second-thought.' The sweeper
removed these programs but also stated it could not remove
the files located in the folder programs/toolbars/temp.
When I tried to access the folder I couldn't. A friend
looked in his computer and didn't even have the
folder 'toolbars.' Is that a bogus folder? How can I
access it?

Also, after I remove all the adware and traces using
SpySweeper, I can run a sweep again in 10 min and all the
spyware/traces will be back...amazing. There is something
in my machine that keeps reloading all that stuff and I
suspect it is in that toolbar folder.

2) Somehow my font has been changed in the windows I type
in (like this one) - still in arabic/english, but just a
different, funky font. The web-page fonts are okay. I also
noticed that during the spyware sweeps I did yesterday
(when I noticed the font change) that the file names that
were being swept were different:
For example, instead of being: windows/documents/james it
now looked like WwindowsWdocumentsWjames (with the
capital 'W' looking like the Korean sign for their won -
a 'W' with a line through it).

The machine seems to work fine but this REALLY bothers me.
Any suggestions (other than trash your computer and buy a
new one) would be appreciated.

Found out my son changed the regional settings so he could
look at the Korean fonts. Changed back...problem #2 solved.
