well spysheriff is an infection so when Ms anti-spyware
took those files away it should of asked you that it was
going to erase a big file. spysheriff isnt hard to erase
but sometimes it messes the PC up because it goes deep down
into ur PC.
Anyway to answer your question if you have alredy tried the
systems restore and that didnt help you cand do much
because unless you used a programs like Norton Ghost you
dont have an image of you PC so you cant go back to how ur
PC was before. the only other thing i can say is if you
backed up files you can try and re install your OS.
i didnt really understand what your biggest problems on
your Pc if you need more help just post here or mail me at
(e-mail address removed)

Get your windows cd put it in the drive,
Go to START and RUN and type SFC /SCANNOW then press
ENTER,this is the windows system file checker and will
check for any missing or damaged files & replace them if
they are needed but you need your windows disk for this.

Try this:

First, navigate to this file and delete it:

C:\WINDOWS\desktop.html

Copy everything inside the lines below(starting with
REGEDIT4). Don't copy the lines. Paste it into Notepad. Go
up to "File > Save As", then click the drop-down box to
change the "Save As Type" to "All Files". Save it as
fixsheriff.reg on your desktop. *Make sure there is NO
blank line above REGEDIT4!

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Policies\Explorer]
"ForceActiveDesktopOn"=-

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Policies\System]
"Wallpaper"=-

Double-click fixsheriff.reg on your desktop. When asked if
you want to merge with the registry click YES. After the
merged successfully prompt, reboot your computer and you
should be able to change it back to normal.
