You can safely delete the cookies. They're left by banner ads
which were present on some web sites you visited. As far as Comet
Cursor goes, you might want to go into Add/Remove programs and
see if you can uninstall it from there. Then run another scan and
clean up any leftover items related to Comet Cursor.

Information about Comet cursor can be found here:
http://www.pchell.com/support/cometcursor.shtml

You might want to consider running additional products to scan
for pests. Here are a few to consider:

AdAware
http://www.lavasoft.de/

Microsoft Antispyware
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

Because sometimes you may find you've lost your internet
connection after one of these programs cleans up the spyware
mess, it's a good idea to download these two programs and have
them handy just in case they're needed.

by the way went to add/remove programs could not find the one with comet
cursers

i have adware and i have done a scan, nothing was found,so shall i carry on
deleting these cookies

Spybot will clean Comet Cursors and the others you mentioned. Once it gives
you the list of what it found you need to get rid of them by clicking 'Fix
selected problems'. Even though Ad-Aware didn't find anything doesn't mean
your system is clean. Spybot sometimes misses things that Ad-Aware finds
and vice versa so it's good to run both. Another one to try is the new one
from Microsoft. Even though it's a Beta they bought out another company and
put their own label on it. It seems to be a fine app and does a good job of
finding undesirables. You can download it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en

You can delete all the cookies as well as the registry entries
that Spybot found left over from Comet Cursor.
