Spybot found 'problem', what to do?

I ran Spybot and it came up with 7 cases of
"Desktop.ActiveDesktop" in red, indicating spyware.
each was a case of " User Settings:
HKEY_USERS\DEFAULT\Software\microsoft\' "
Kind: Registry Change, with a soma cube icon.

I am not sure if I should "fix" these.

While Spybot was running, everything I tried doing was v-e-r-y
slow,
and my curser was very jumpy and hard to control.

What's happening, and how to fix?

Go to regedit and export the registry to your desktop. Allow Spybot
to fix the problems, reboot and see if anything falls apart. If bad
things happen restore the registry you saved and reboot. Spybot also
has a "Recovery" function that allows restoring specific changes.

Spybot, or any other scanner, uses a lot of CPU time while it's
running. You need a LOT of memory and a fast processor to do that
kind of multi-tasking.

What's happening, and how to fix?

You could get a better insight on you computer if you activate the
performance or system monitor. See your help pages.
