Spybot finds redirected host

I updated SpyBot S&D today and ran a scan. When the scan was complete it
found a problem with a redirected host.

<MySoft: Redirected host (Redirected host, nothing done)
<Sitefinder.Verisign.com=127.0.0.1>

As you can see from the log text cited above the problem was not fixed.
I do have an entry in my Hosts file that redirects Sitefinder.Verisign.com
back to my local machine but until today it has never been detected by
SpyBot. It is identified as a problem and automatically marks it for removal
but "Fix all problems" does not touch it. A scheduled scan at next boot
produces the same results.

I am pretty sure that this is not a security breach but I am wondering if
anyone else has noticed this problem since updating S&D. I have had the same
entries in my Hosts file for quite some time and this detection has not
happened until today.

Should I exclude this detection from future scans?
TIA............Mark N.

I had the exact same thing happen to me with the new spybot definitions. But
when I deleted it with spybot and ran subsequent scans it was gone for good.

- You can open your hosts file with Notepad.

- C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc/hosts.file

- Delete everything EXCEPT 127.0.0.1 Localhost

- Choose "save as" and overwrite hosts.file

- MSAS then protect your hosts file.
