Spybot and Ad-aware never update

Hey all,

First off, I know this is a Microsoft newsgroup but I commonly see Ad-aware
and Spybot recommended so I thought it was appropriate to post this question
here. If I'm wrong let me know.

Anyways, now to my problem. When I run Ad-aware 6 and Spybot Search &
Destroy 1.3 it always says "no new updates available" (or a variation
thereof). I never believe them, so I go to Ad-aware's website and sure
enough, they have newer definitions. I then have to manually download the
new definitions and install them myself. Any suggestions on why it does this
or how I can fix this annoying problem? The same goes for Spybot..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With me, Spybot never has updates, but Ad-aware does.
