Spurious Icons

An icon named $200 Bonus keeps appearing on my desktop.
I repeatedly delete them but they just reappear when I
come back to the desktop.
Search says there are five files with this name in the
recycle bin but when I look, recycle bin is empty.

Any clues please ?
