Spreadsheet for USB drive

I'm looking for a very light duty spreadsheet that can be run from my USB
drive with no files on the host computer. I've tried Abykus by you cannot
cut & paste from an existing Excel sheet. This will be used almost
exclusively as a database list.

I have also tried Spread32 which seems fine but again, I can't seem to cut &
paste (even simple text cells) from Excel. Can I be doing something wrong?

Try opening the Excel workbook in Spread32 (S32 should open simple
Excel files; it writes the Excel format) then try cut/paste between the
2 S32 instances. Or just work on a renamed copy of the Excel file, to
open in S32.

Not a spreadsheet, but for small databases ...

There is a freeware version. Should run independent of machine on a USB
drive. But you'll have to import your Excel data, won't copy/paste.

"I cannot get it to open an Excel file. I get the error message "Spread32
has incountered a problem & needs to close". It also only lists it's native
file type in the "open" dialog box (I had to chose "All Files" to even see
the Excel files).
