Sporadic wake-up from Hibernation

I always place my PCs in hibernation mode but lately one of my PCs with XP
Pro SP2 when switched on from hibernation will sit there for quite some time
with a blinking cursor and then the screen with "resuming windows" appears.
If I am in a hurry I will sometimes just press the power button to switch
off and then when I press it again it will quickly resume from hibernate.
SO I now have to press the power button three times (ON-OFF-ON) to get a
quick wake up from hibernation.

There is obviously some new software running in the background causing this.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Do you have Wake on LAN enabled in the BIOS? If so, it could be that
continuous network activity to this PC is causing it to immediately resume.
