spoolsv.exe Application error

The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e)
occurred in the application at location 0x77e8f142.


I get the above error when I boot my PC up and I can not
add a printer

any ideas on how to fix this

Hi David,

Try this,

1)after crash type "net start spooler" at command prompt,
then add printers.

2) Un-install prev printer drivers and add it again after
proper cleaning of registry
