"Spooler Subsystem App. has encountered a problem and needs to shutdown"

I get the error message, "Spooler Subsystem App. has
encountered a problem and needs to shutdown", when I try
to use Network setup wizard.

encountered a problem and needs to shutdown", when I try
to use Network setup wizard.

I've seen this before, and although I don't know why it happens,
the following seemes to be an effective work-around:

Go to a command prompt.
Before running the wizard, enter this command:

net stop spooler

After running the wizard, enter this command:

net start spooler
