Spooler causes high CPU Usage on Windows XP Pro

My Dell shows 100% CPU usage from the very start.
Disabling spoolsv.exe at Taskmanager resolves the problem, but disables printing.
I installed all recent updates, but it didn't make any better.
Would you give any suggestions?
