I may be at wrong forum but will ask anyway. Are there any way or any
software programs that will split large PDF files for saving to either floppy
disks or to email?

easiest way i can think is using something like winzip or winrar which
allows you to choose the split size of a zip or rar file and create parts
the size you choose ... then to extract you put in the first of the series
and it will prompt you for the next disk and so on.

There is lots of software that will split up large files (the fact that they
are pdf files is irrelevant). Almost any zip utility will do this, and there
are also standalone file splitters. Google will find you what you need.

Another alternative which I have used successfully is Slice32 from PC Mag at
the following link

Unfortunately, you have to pay for downloads from that site now, so this
single download would cost approx $8. If you want to download other
utilities from their site (and they have quite a few good ones) then you
could go for a larger download subscription which will work out cheaper in
the long run.
