splitting cells

;'Hi I created a .csv Excel file to use for a mass email. I put the first and last name in the same cell but when I import the file into the mail merge, it's not recognizing the name. Is there anyway to split the cell into the first name column and last name column? If someone could help me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Mindy

Hi Mindy
if your names only consist of firstnames and lastnames try 'Data - Text
to columns' and choose Space as delimiter

I did a sample sample and I split three names up into two columns, first and last names . When I tried to do a mail merge in Word it still doesn't recognize the name and just put To whom it may concern.
