spellchecker doesn't work

Just installed Word and Excel97 from my MSOffice 97 CD onto my new XP SP2
system and the above does not work. Tools>Options>Spelling & Grammar tab
shows Spelling greyed out. Only 2 boxes in Grammar selected: Check Grammar
as you type and Check Grammar with Spelling. Did I miss installing something
from the MSOffice CD? Thank you, Steve T

I went back and re-installed the above along with Binder and Office Tools
and now the Spellcheck works, but not in Outlook Express 6. Any ideas? This
was posted in greater detail on another NG dealing with OE6. Thanks, Steve T
