In Outlook 2000 using word as e-mail I used to be able to get a red line
under the mis-spelled word. How do I get the same feature in Outlook 2003?

By using Word as your mail editor. It's a function of Word, not Outlook.

The versions of Word and Outlook must match. You'll have to upgrade to Word
2003.
