spell checking

How do I make spell checker ignore the original message and address list, in
replies and forwards? I am checking the box in tools/options/spelling to
ignore the original message, but the spell checker keeps checking these names
and messages

We are finding the same thing. The ONLY time it works as you'd expect is if
it's an HTML message.

I've searched the kbase, but the only articles I could find related to 97
and 98. I tried them anyway, but it didn't work.

After checking some other posts on this topic, I saw claims that if Word is
NOT your email editor, this will work.

Perhaps that's why it works for us if it's in HTML format. Word is NOT our
email editor, but unless it's in HTML, it checks EVERYTHING.

This is a definite bug - or perhaps it happens because it's Tuesday and I
pressed the escape key 3 times in rapid succession while thinking of
England....
