Spell Checking Text Boxes

I am laying out a flyer template using 6 text boxes to fill in information that will be unique to each flyer created. But I have noticed that the text boxes are being overlooked by the spell check. How can I spell check all the text boxes and not have them by-passed by the spell checker?

Hi, Kay. I think if you convert the text boxes to frames (right-click on the edge of a text box, then left-click on Format Text Box | Text Box tab | Convert to Frame), then spellcheck will work on them. If that doesn't work, then make sure the paragraph style or character style is not formatted with "Do not check spelling or grammar" in Tools | Language | Set Language.

I tried the directions "convert the text boxes to frames (right-click on the
edge of a text box, then left-click on Format Text Box | Text Box tab |
Convert to Frame), but I dodn't get the option to Format Text box. The only
options I get are Cut, Copy, Paste, Properties, Font, Paragraph, Bullets and
Numbering, and Hyperlink. Am I doing something wrong? It is a Word 2003
document.

I think the problem is one of terminology. Word has a specific meaning for the
term "text box" -- it's the object inserted when you click Insert > Text Box. I
think what you have in your template may be text form fields, which are
completely different; or they may be something else. How did you insert them?

It is a form that was already set up. If I right click on the box and select
properties. It tells me is a text form field. So, is there something else I
need to do?
