Spell Checking in Word.

What version of Word? In what way does spell checking not work?
 
I am working with Word XP. I already found the way to fix it. On the bottom
menue bar there is a small place for language setup. I double clicked it and
checked out check box "Do not check spelling and gramma" It was checked in
automatically because i was switching to the other languages.
