Spell checker does not ignore original text in reply even though .

My spell checker continues to check the original text in a reply, even though
I have set the "options" to ignore it. Why is this happening?

Becasue MS Word is a compulsive Spell-Checker.
In the OL main window, go to Tools/Options/Format/Message Format.
DEselect Word both for editing and for reading.
Did that work?
