Spell Check

I am using a table in 2000 word and one column is NOT being checked for
spelling and grammar. The Tools, Options, spell check and grammar boxes are
both checked.

What can I do to force spell check in the column?
 
Select the column (or the entire document) and go to Tools | Language | Set
Language. Make sure the box for "Do not check spelling or grammar" is
completely clear.
