Spell check pop up

I am using word 2003 and am finding that when I type (it seems to be the
letter 'i') the spellcheck screen pops up. It happens in the middle of a
word, and if I am not quick enough than I end up typing in the pop up screen.
Any ideas on how to make it stop?

This isn't something Word generally does, so either the letter has been remapped
to a macro or you have some really weird Add-in firing...

If you hold Ctrl to start Word in Safe Mode does the problem go away?

I'm guessing it will... So if you rename Normal.dot to NormalOLD.dot, then start
Word normally, is the problem gone?
