Spell Check Key and deleting blocks

Recently when using word, if I hit F7 to do a spell check, a window opens
about "Help for Word Perfect Users" and when I block out text and hit delete
it now asks on the bar where the page number is about deleting, rather than
just deleting it. Any ideas or suggestions

In Tools > Options > General, uncheck both options that mention WordPerfect.
