Spell Check issue + Outlook 2007

Hello...i am having this issue with spell check in outlook 2007
(vista
ultimate).

In the option section I have automatically spell check enabled. I
create a new message and enter a recipient. I then type some text.
There are misspelled words. I hit send and spell check pops up. I
change the words to the correct spelling and off the message goes.
Just like in OE, thunderbird, etc.. I sent it to myself and when it
arrives the words are spelled wrong like the original text. I cannot
figure out how to correct this.

If I create the message like above and manually spell check the text
and then manually send the words come back in the email spelled
correctly. However after years of sending emails the first way I do
not want to change. Any idea of how to fix the problem?

Thanks,

DC

are the messages being saved to drafts before sending? it sounds like
outlook is sending the draft copy, not the spellchecked one.

what type of email account do you use?

Regular pop3 email. A few free ones and my isp provided account. No
messages are not being saved to drafts. Thought that might have been
the answer. Any other thoughts?

None at the moment but someone else reported this problem a couple of weeks
ago so while it's apparently rare, you aren't the only one affected.
