spell check isn't working but thinks it is

Please help! My spell check says it's complete and "ok" but it's not
recognizing garbage (like sldkfjsldfnsfjsl) and sends off my emails w/
obvious errors! I've checked all my settings and the dictionary and it all
looks ok. What do I do? (other than find a copy of Webster's?)

Are you using Word for you rmail editor? The likeliest cause of this is that
you're typing in the signature area of the message. Right-click and see if
you get a pop-up menu that indicates you can change a signature.
