Spell check in Swedish

I would like to be able to spell check plain text e-mails in Swedish in
Outlook.

I am running Outlook 2003 SP2 (English version) in an Enlish version of
Windows.
I have set Swedish as preferred language in Regional & Language settings.
In MS Office Language Settings Swedish is not an available language BUT
appears on the list of Enabled Languages! It is semi-dimmed, having the a
small icon of the same type as used for the language/spelling files and it
can not be removed from the list of Enabled Languages.
I have also choosen Swedish on the same tab as the Default Behaviour in MS.

Anyone ?

I have the Swedish dictionary, thesaurus, hyphenator etc. installed and
running fine with Word etc. The problem is that I can not make it work in
Outlook as Swedish does not occur under Tools/Option-Spelling-Intarenational
Dictionaries in Outlook.

Hi,
Setting Word as your E-mail editor will probably solve the problem.
You can use plain text with Word too.

No, I am sorry it didn't work even if it feels that we are one step closer.

The first time I made a manual spell check Word as the E-mail editor the
program answered something like "can not find the Danish dictionary" .
Ever after the spell check does not work, it only returns "spell and grammar
check complete"

Hi,
Try this,
Open a new message.
Click Tools
Language
Set language
Select Swedish
Uncheck "Detect language automatically" checkbox
Click" Default " and confirm.
