Spell check in OE6 using Home XP

I can't use spell check in Outlook Express 6. I'm using
Windows XP Home as my OS. The Microsoft website has a
knowledge base article that covers this, #308078. They
know about the problem. Is there a fix?

Outlook express gets its spell check from ms word(office). Do you have that
installed?

Yes I have MS word installed. The spell check works in
all other programs ie. Word, Excel & MS Outlook (full
version). We prefer the OE for our email and would
rather use it over MS Outlook.
