Recently purchased a new computer with Windows XP
Professional. They downloaded internet software from my
provider (Earthlink). I presume Microsoft Internet
Explorer and Outlook Express are included in this
download. Everything works fine except when I try a spell
check on Microsoft Outlook Express, a message comes up
which says, "An error occurred while the spelling was
being checked". Under Outlook Express help, I learned for
the spell check to work you must have Microsoft Word (or
Excel) installed. I installed Microsoft Word 97 which I
had on a CD Disk that came with Microsoft Home Essentials
(I had this on my old computer with Window 95). The spell
checker still does not work. What is wrong? I'm sure it
must be something simple, but yet beyond me!
