Any gurus know how to solve the very slow response of Powerpoint 2007
on a Vista laptop? Migrated settings and files from Outlook 2003
running on my previous XP based machine.

Odd thing is - if I work on the slides via outline - it's fast enough.
BTW - transferred settings (& Office 2007) via usb cable to new laptop
using Laplinks' PCMover. I wonder if this might be an issue too?

Have you tried running diagnostics? Click Office File Button | PPT Options
| Resources to get to them.
You might try updating your video driver and changing hardware
