speech recognition

On word 2003 I could plug in a mic and just start to speak what I wanted to
type. I now have word 2007 and can not get this feature to work. Does it not
exist or do I need to download something to get it back?

Hi Robert,

MS Office discontinued providing dictation after the 2003 version. If you are on Windows Vista you can use the similar feature it
provides, if on Windows XP you may want to look at a 3rd party product such as Dragon (http://nuance.com)
