Speech recognition in other languages?

I have a polish version of Microsoft Office Word 2003, and can't use what I bought it for - the speech recognition in english. I tried Microsoft Office Word help, but it was said that speech recognition is only available in english, chinese and japanese version of Microsoft Office. I have changed the language of Microsoft Office to english but it didn't help. I really care about solving this prolblem and am eager to find the solution. How can you help me?

I would imagine you would have to buy an English version of Office in order
to use Speech Recognition.
