Specify file format for new DB

I am running Access 2003. For some reason new mdb-files are created in Access
2000 file format.

How do I change that to 2002-2003 format?
 
Hi Diane,

If you choose Tools / Options / Advanced and set the Default File Format,
that should do it.

And to change databases already created in the Access 2000 format, look
under Tools | Database Utilities | Convert Database
