i have a question about spam where do these people get your email address
from and why they send you all this garbage
i mean its no interst to me i personaly hate it i in all seriousness i
receive like 1600 spam messages a day.

Most spammers have a method of "scanning" newsgroup servers, like this one,
and are able to take all the email addresses that people use to post. Most
spammers do not re-edit the email address so if you were to change it
slightly (adding a "nospam" word to it) the automatic email "haverster" will
not be able to give your correct email address to the automated spam
system(s). It also allow "real" people to be able to email you.

If you post/have posted to newsgroup server with your "real" email address,
you have invited the spam to your email box(es).
