Spam using my own address

R

RENEE

I am using Spamcatcher which works quite well with
Outlook 2000. However, I am now finding that about 1/3
of the spam I receive, when I try to block it, my own e-
mail address comes up. In other words, the spam appears
to be coming FROM me to me. Is there a way of preventing
this as it is becoming more prevalent and, of course, I
cannot block myself. Thanks.

Typical tactic by spammers to circumvent spam blcokers is to forge the email
headers. Only way to stop this is to create a rule that scans message
content for the typical junk words, like Save Money!, Incredible discovery,
{and more worse language here}, etc.
