Hello,
We have a Small Business Server 2003 standard edition.
We have up to date coporate Antivirus program for the entire domain. We also
have a seperate up to date anitivirus security software on the Exchange 2003
SP1 server service located on the SBS box. A spam message continually
appears in the junk folder of Outlook 2003 client for a specific users
mailbox. We can delete the message, however it reappears in the junk folder
whenever the client attempts to retrieve messages from the exchange mailbox.
We tried a full virus scan on the client and exchange 2003 server with no
malicious files found. Any reccommendations would humbly be appreiciated.
TIA.

Joe

Well...

1. Are you sure that the spammer just isn't sending him one over and over?
2. What does the user do to "attempt to retrieve" messages from the
Exchange mailbox? Is he connecting via POP or something?
3. What A/V program are you using on the Exchange server? What if you
temporarily disable that A/V program as a test while you delete the message?
4. All other mail functions for that user working normally? They're
sending and receiving normal mail?
