spam / junk e mail

I have been getting alot of junk e mail. Approx 60-80
aday. The e mails coming through are majority just spam
and are near enough the same every day. I have set up the
spam filter so it puts the messages straight into there,
however the e mails coming through have virus's on which
nortan is picking up but everytime you get a message it
comes up with nortan has picked up this e mail and has
deleted it press finish to close box. When you have to do
this 60 times a do it gets frustrating. Is there anyone I
can get out of this cycle and stop these e mails being
delivered. My It bloke said it will only last a month but
3 months down the line we are still getting thm
Any help or suggestions would be hughly appreciated.

Disable the integration of Notron with Outlook. It doesn't protect you any
better than the on-access scanner any way.

Yes I can disable nortan however this will not stop the e
mail spam/junk mail coming through. As another problem I
have is that we have to check the spam quarantine file
every day to make sure there are no e mails hitting that
folder that are good e mails. (i no this will only be for
a short while, while the spam package learns what is good
and what is bad mail) BUT i would like to know If there is
anyway we can STOP the spam e mails and get out this
cycle. Or is this not possible
The e mails we get just say hello for example and the
attachment says nortan has deleted file.

Sounds like you should take this up with Symantec.
